II. General information about data processing

1. Scope of the processing of personal data

Our processing of the personal data of our users is limited to the data that is required to provide a properly functioning website as well as our content and services. We process personal data of our users only for the purposes agreed with you or if another legal basis (within the meaning of the GDPR) exists. We collect only the personal data that is actually required to perform and settle our tasks and services or that you have made available to us voluntarily.

You have the right to demand information from us about the personal data we process relating to you. If you are of the view that the processing of your personal data by us breaches the applicable data protection provisions, you have the opportunity to complain to the Data Protection Officer.

III. Description and scope of the data processing

1. Provision of the website

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically records data and information about the computer system of the accessing computer.

The following data is gathered in this conjunction:

  • information about the browser type and the version used
  • the operating system of the user
  • the internet service provider of the user
  • the IP address of the user
  • date and time of the accessing
  • websites from which the system of the user reaches our website

We store this information for a maximum period of four months. This data is not merged with other data sources. Storage is performed for reasons of data security, in order to ensure the stability and operating reliability of our system.

Our website uses “Google Analytics”, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, to evaluate use of the website. Google Analytics uses cookies (see Fig. 2.) that are saved on your computer. The information these contain about the website and internet use of the user can be processed and evaluated by Google.

The data collected by Google may possibly be transmitted by Google to states outside the EU and EEA, in particular to the USA. Google has, however, subjected itself to the Privacy Shield Framework. In addition, we ensure that your IP address is anonymised before being transferred to Google. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

2. Plugins

2.1 Google Maps

This website uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

It is necessary to save your IP address in order to use the functions of Google Maps. As a rule, this information is transferred to a Google server in the USA and is stored there. The provider of this website has no influence over this data transfer.

The Google Maps service is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online services and to make it easier to find the sites indicated on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

3. Cookies

We use cookies on our website in order to make our services more user-friendly.
